At Wingate, we believe that how we learn is just as important as what we learn. Our school is built on a culture of kindness, respect, and curiosity, where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to explore new ideas.

Every day, we celebrate students who demonstrate our schoolwide expectations of being Safe, Respectful, and Ready to Learn. Through our Trailblazer Ticket program, students earn recognition for positive choices, and their efforts are celebrated schoolwide. Each quarter, we also highlight students who embody our core values with the Kind Heart and Curious Mind awards—reminding our community that character and curiosity go hand in hand with academic excellence.

Families play a vital role in shaping the Wingate experience. From volunteering in classrooms to cheering on performances and events, our families are deeply woven into the fabric of our school. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is especially impactful, providing countless opportunities for parents to be involved and making an enormous difference through fundraising, event planning, and support for staff and students. Their efforts help bring enrichment programs, classroom resources, and community events to life—strengthening the partnership between school and home.
